I am a senior post doctoral research fellow at Bioinformatics Institute (BII), A*STAR. Prior to joining BII on August of 2013,
I completed my PhD in computational mathematics at National University of Singapore under the supervision of
Delin Chu. I graduated from East China Normal University
in Shanghai, China, with a Bachelor's degree in computational mathematics in 2008. My current research interest includes machine learning and its applications to bioimage analysis and computer vision,
matrix computations with application to large-scale data analysis, and randomized numerical linear algebra.
